Say goodbye to downwind uncertainty with the new version of 'U' mark, aka the 'wreck to reef' buoy. Positioned at N50¬ 36'. 571, W02¬ 20'. 518, it bears 097¬M from the end of the harbour, at about 3.6nm. It looks a bit like it fell off some sort of space project, but if it stays there and is visible from a distance, then it'll be very useful.See www.wsc.org.uk/racing/marksI am reminded of winter races using the fishing factory ships as marks, with their huge wind-shadows when you went round the stern Äì this is much better and will provide ROs with another option for the NHC Fast fleet.Steve FraserCruiser Class Captain
