2026 Cruising Programme
For Cruises in Company, a group email will be sent by the cruising coordinator to all yacht owners to give notice of a cruise two to three weeks in advance. Any owners or skippers with a serious intention to join a cruise then please reply so that preparations can be made. Your cruising coordinator will keep yacht owners informed on the status of each cruising event on a cruise specific group chat using the mobile Telegram Messenger App. If owners or skippers have crew vacancies on their boat then please ensure you advertise it on the website crew finder. Likewise, crew looking for places should advertise in the same way. Individuals may wish to tailor any trip to suit their diaries by departing earlier or staying on.
If anyone has any other ideas and wishes to organise an additional cruise in company to those listed then please contact the Cruising Coordinator at cruising@wsc.org.uk
For Evening Social Cruises, a message will be sent to skippers a few days prior on the general WSC Cruising (Owners/Skippers) Telegram Messenger group asking if they will participate and if so how many crew spaces they have available. Once availability is known, and suitable weather is forecast, a group email will be sent to all members inviting them to join a boat on a first come first served basis. Successful crew invitees must read and comply with the pre-boarding safety checklist Participants Safety Checklist3.pdf click on the link to view. Participants will meet outside the club front door at 5.45pm prompt.
