Cruising Logs and Articles

Club members are interested in your cruising experiences and also give inspiration to less experienced sailors to explore horizons further afield. On completion of a cruise, please send a basic cruising log by email to your cruising coordinator at cruising@wsc.org.uk. Include Boat name, crew names, dates, days sailed, stopovers visited and nautical miles covered.

If you wish to publish a fuller account of your cruise, or any other cruising related article on the club website, you can do this by contacting the club website team on it@wsc.org.uk

Cruising Trophies

Information provided in your Cruising Logs, Articles or even stories told in the bar will all be used to assist the Sailing Sub-committee in awarding the two following Cruising Trophy's at the end of each season. You need to be in it to win it, so please let your Cruising Coordinator know about your cruises.

Cruise Log 1 for The Passage Cup - awarded for duration (nights/locations visited/nautical miles)

Current Holder for 2023 - Mark and Rima Bugler, Saskia VII

Cruise Log 2 for The Meech Barometer awarded for special endeavour/achievement

Current Holder for 2023 - Murray Fraser, Dulcibella
