YOBs prize giving

This years prize giving for the YOBs was held on the 3th January at WSC.The YOBs turned out with their family and friends even though the weather was appalling.Cory took the most prizes including the If Only Trophy for trying to sink the Jaffa, one cup he won't be showing everyone.We saw some new names on the cups with Sam Avant taking Top Newcomer and Alexandra Stevenson taking her first racing cup.Seb was unable to pick up his so Grandad Cliff stood in, I don't think anyone noticed the difference!?.Mini Sam took Cadet of the Year as well as a mix of racing cups and then took over the job from Alice Perrett to become Cadet Captain.The evening was followed by the usual spread and Disco Thanks to Daphne for her great spread, Chris Hogg for being DJ and of course Kathy and Euan for presenting the trophies.Not forgetting all the people who donate raffle prizes, the money raised £177 covered all the costs of the evening and left a large amount to go towards future projects.Phil
