Winter walk

The January winter walk took place today starting at the Swan Inn , Abbotsbury with 11 walkers and 2 dogs.A cold SW gale led to a Äúshorten courseÄù and change in the route . We walked up Chapel Hill then along the Chesil Beach. The recent rains led to floods on the coast path making it rather slow going. A quick walk inland and coffee at Abbotsbury ÄúsubtropicalÄù gardens allowed us to finish the walk just before the rain. The Swan did well with a good range of food.
