Transmanche 2025 - Cherbourg Yacht Club's annual visit 7-9 June

We are as usual hosting the annual cross-Channel race organised by Cherbourg Yacht Club, which traditionally attracts entries from clubs along the Normandy coast from Le Havre to Granville, and in which Weymouth boats have also participated from time to time. The race to Weymouth will start from Cherbourg on Saturday 7 June, there will be the chance for French boats to join in our racing in the bay here on Sunday morning, followed by the traditionally splendid BBQ at the club, which is itself renowned among sailors in Normandy! The race back to Cherbourg starts from the Stone Pier early on Monday morning.

Hopefully we can field a team or two to sail over in time to race back with our French partners!
