The Cubies get their ladders!

An important part of the ongoing moorings Health and Safety programme this season has been to have custom-made brackets built in order to fix the requisite safety ladders to the improved Cubie pontoon. On one of those glorious summer days when all sorts of cheery things were happening around the club, including helping the enthusiastic new owners to launch and prepare ‘Pepperpot’ for their first-ever sail – to Poole! – and a very busy YOBs session in preparation, Team Ladder, consisting of Daves Summerhayes and Lees, and Paul Sansom, stepped up (geddit?) and fixed the two new ladders, one at each end of the pontoon, where they look very purposeful, though hopefully won’t need to be used that often. Owners of boats on the pontoon should note their position, however – we hope to add a third ladder to the central section as well.
