Osprey Nationals - Poole and Weymouth

The 60th Osprey Nationals is starting on Thursday 10th August and runs through to Sunday 13th August and is hosted at Poole YC.Two boats from our Club are competing - Emma Stevenson / Tim Bowden and Ali Stevenson / Pete Lloyd. Ben Hawkes will be crewing with Simon and Andy Edmonds will be crewing on a local boat.It promises to be a tough championships with around 40 boats competing in 10 races scheduled over the 4 days both inside and outside the harbour. Sailing will be tricky with shifty winds and tides not experienced in Weymouth Bay.In 2018 Weymouth SC will be hosting the Osprey Nationals from 16th to 19th August.
