After waving goodbye to Peter & Ali, we would like to welcome Martin Lee as our new caterer. As a fellow sailor and having catered at Castle Cove Sailing Club he is well aware of the idiosyncrasies of a sailing club and its catering needs. Following the normal closed period of January, the first opportunity of sampling Martin's cooking¬will be Sunday Lunch on 3rd February.Introducing Martin:¬Hi my name is Martin Lee, and I am totally delighted to be asked to look after the catering at Weymouth Sailing Club. I am married to Alison and have two grown up children Amanda and Richard. For those who donÄôt know meĶ. I am a member at Castle Cove Sailing Club and I sail a small Newbridge NavigatorĶ no racingĶ but just really enjoyable pottering and fishing.¬My wife and I ran the Boot Inn in Weymouth for 5 years and built up quite a following for food. Since then I have been mainly involved in Catering Equipment, I currently run an online Catering Equipment Business. Locally I have been involved in fitting out kitchens as diverse as the National Sailing Academy at Portland to the converted Malcolm Miller tall ship. Last Spring I helped fit out the kitchens in the ¬two upturned ÄúBoatsÄù on the beach.¬I spent the whole of the Summer 2012 looking after and catering for 25 Foreign Olympic Sailing Teams from their training to the end of the ParalympicsĶ. I enjoyed it so much that I thought Weymouth Sailing Club Catering Franchise would be an ideal opportunity.¬Most of all I would really like to hear from the members their thoughts on what you would like me to provideĶ. Please do not hesitate to e mail or call me with your suggestions my contact details are as follows: martinlee@btinternet.com 07714 791 971February and March 2013 Opening times       Menus and Prices
