Barts Bash Brief

Most of you will be aware of the mounting excitement of forthcoming Barts bash fundraisers, parties and of course the event itself.Michelle Pascoe is organising a fundraiser which includes an auction of promises from some very familiar faces. This happens on Saturday the 9th of August in the Longshed.The club has been asked to organise a party on Saturday 20th September, with some special guests attending.The main event "the largest sailing race in the world" will be staged on the morning of Sunday the 21st September.Our races will take place on the 'gold medal' course in Newtons Cove. As a bonus our friends at PYRA (Poole Yacht Racing Association) who wined and dined at the club last weekend, want to come back and party with us on the Saturday evening and then compete with us doing Barts Bash before racing back to Poole.Plans are afoot for a prize giving and party at the Academy in the afternoon.So put these dates in your diaries and lets look forward to having fun both on and off the water.
