Ace engineers upgrade Viking

Eagle-eyed sailors may have spotted a new adornment on the roof of our committee boat. Thanks to Jim and Peter Williams we now have a solar panel installed on Viking which should solve the re-current (geddit!) problem with flat batteries.The panel is working well - the batteries are now invariably showing fully charged. This should also help reduce the Club carbon footprint as we will not need to run the engine at anchor just to charge the batteries... we should've done it years ago !Last year the talented duo revamped the old hand truck which is invaluable when transporting heavy items round the Club's yards.Well done Jim and Peter.
