2015 YOBs Prize Giving

The 2015 YOBs prize giving was held at WSC last Friday, when our new Commodore Euan presented the cups with the help of Gary Owens.Alexandra Stevenson picked up the most cups with six racing cups and the Top Girl Award. Her sister Emma picked up a racing cup as well as Cadet Of The Year for the 4th time in six years for her outstanding work with the yobs during this year.We were pleased to see 4 new names on the cups this year, Harry Owens winning 4 cups including Top Boy Award. A new cup was introduced for our top youngster who is below our 9 year old age limit but comes sailing with their parent called "Top Tiddler". This was won by Cassie Aston. YOB cups are normally only awarded to under 18 year olds but this year we made an exception with The "If Only" Award (wooden spoon) which was awarded to Gary Owens ...please feel free to ask him why!
