WSC End of Summer (EoS) Regatta

This weekend we have the "End of Summer Regatta" at WSC.

The fun starts with the Tender Race on the 13th Friday evening starting at 17:00 with registration. First race at approx 18:15.

The Galley are serving Paella and Sangria after the Tender Race.

On Saturday and Sunday Mornings the galley will be open for Breakfast at 09:00, so crew's can get fuelled up before racing starts.

The "End of Summer Regatta" is free for all club members with no forms for fill out, just come on down to your club and go racing on Saturday and Sunday, could not be made any easier. The are starts for yachts IRC 3, 4 and 5 plus Dinghies and Squibs. There will be visiting Squibs too as our regatta is also serving as a platform the Squibs South Coast Championship.

The race format has been designed to be rather leisurely with just 2 races each day with the first start not before 11:30.

Saturday evening after racing there will be one of Amanda's famous BBQ's on the decking at the club. On Sunday after racing there will be a prize giving event with the galley doing race food.

Hopefully the weather gods will be smiling on us, so please come on down and join in the fun.

SQUIB SOUTH COAST CHAMPIONSHIP

Weymouth Sailing Club is hosting the Squib South Coast Championship on the 14th and 15th September 2024 -- this is an open event for both WSC members and National Squib Owners Association (NSOA) members.

This event will be held as part of the WSC "End of Summer (EoS) Regatta" which will include Dinghy & IRC keelboat racing as well as social activities over the Friday evening (13th Sept) and weekend of 14th and 15th September 2024.

ENTRIES:-

The process for Squib entries is now open.

To Enter, click "Book Online" (on the menu bar above), then click on "Open Events" and then click on "Squib Southern Championships".

If you are not a member of WSC, please "Create a new account" first.

Apply for a ticket (an entry reservation) by filling in the remaining details required on the online entry form and then complete the booking by clicking the "Reserve 1 now" button.

If your application has been successful you can check your reservation (and all other entry reservations) by clicking "show" next to "Current reservations" on the Ticket screen.

Note you can only book one ticket/entry reservation per account/email address.
